i know its still early, but what a nice change that the moaning has not appeared from this past weekends event in Germany!

anyone have anything they thought was excellent and would like to see again at the next tourney's? or any other small items they would like more of?

Give it some time, and i will come up with some moaning....

What about: the refs should focus on the game, not if the players are holding the hand on their head all the way to the deadbox

They for sure have some good intensions, but i think they start in the wrong end! The first day the refs had more focus on keeping an eye one the players leaving the field, than the game itself.

Why not do it easier for the refs. Let the players hold the hand on their head til they cross the sideline. The game is going to fast now for them anyway.

And their positioning in the break...... How many players do you think got away with hits in the break this weekend? Many, for sure!

But:
-weather was nice
-arrangement was nice
- beer was good (i think)
- The girl in the MS booth that i gave all those score sheets all weekend long, was nice

and bla-bla..

Moan moan moan - the waiting sucked! At worst 2 hrs wait between games which lasted about 2 mins. Zzzz.. But that's the problem of the current seven man format and the 8 games prelims

Hand over head rule, good rule but refs should not spend too much time looking after eliminated players. Focus more on important things! 1-4-1 for such a minor offence is way too much and could decide games! It takes some time to get used to this new procedure. Not to mention the refs themselves - they used the old elimination signal countless times!

Refs also seemed to forget the rule 28.02. If you were hit on the move you had better stop right there and then, otherwise 1-4-1. But I guess this could be a good thing too, players become much more cautios about trying to play on.

But overall this was an excellent start to the MS 05 season.

Ok, my main gripes were:

40 euro's for the Lesbian Bonanza exerience in Tic Tac Bar (less on the gynocological details next time please).

The beer was far to cheap, alloing people to get far too drunk.

and finally,

Whose ida was it too allow the paramedics too moonlight as taxi drivers?

Other than that appeared a well organised event.
