WGP bought out by K2?

Makes me wonder if and/or when K2 and SP butt heads how a company with K2's resources might choose to handle SP's extortion, er, patent enforcement.
What do you care, Simon? NPS has already cut their deal. The historical antecedent that comes to mind is the non-aggression pact between Hitler and Stalin.

I am surprised to read a post like that from you, Baca. Forgive me, but I thought that your son's place on a high profile SP team would incline you not to compare their, uh, business practices to extortion or Hitler (I assume not Stalin- the analogy is less apt that way). I don't remember you justifying the business practices in question, but I don't recall seeing any comment on them from you.
I realize that you and your son are seperate people, and SP sort of seems to relish the brigand aura they have given themselves.
K2 have been talking to WGP for a long time, as well as Tipmann and WDP.
It's part of a strategy that will give them (Brass Eagle) a foothold in all levels of the game because up until the acquisition of WGP (if indeed it has been made official) they didn't have a high end marker.
As for any possible entanglement of attorneys across patent lines, it seems logical to me that if SP wakes a tiger like K2, they would have a serious fight on their hands, if they don't wake it then I doubt K2 would activate any of their legal department....'let sleeping dogs lie' would seem the expedient course to take for both parties
