Sunday was really good. The weather was good, finally, and I learnt alot.
Like you said, I only had one bouncer which hit my bicep and I now have a nice purple bruise but nothing like the one you showed us on your leg. By the way, liked the boxers
Man, that mug should have been mine! I have a swimming action Action man which kicks and sh!t. Its soo cool! I am so sad

Glad a good time was had on Sunday, CSWS (well 5 of us ) were away at the excelent Welsh tourney although we agree more sleep less beer (or should that be pernod and black ).
As for the impy prob scribbs, I was chronying all day at the tourney at 245-255 fps and this was cranking it as hard as it would go, I couldn't get it any higher, By the end of the day I went up to 275 on one test b4 a game and that was about as high as i could manage (me thinks it needs a full on service)
Welts ccan come i many different ways and personally i only have ever had a few nasty ones (like Liz said natural padding ) i barely had a bruise after the tourney but i guess thats cause at the back i mostly got long balled or took it in the googles.
I am sure Heston will have a few more welts than the rest of us, Most muggins of the day with 4 close range ones. Poor Bar Steward

i got lit up on several occasions on sunday, at the welsh open, in fact being eliminated from two games, resulted in about a dozen balls breaking on me, (I HATE PEOPLE WITH ANGELS SOMETIMES!!) I would say that i'm a fairly similar build to scribble, and I don't have a single mark on me . Even though the fields were up close and personal, and everyone chronoed to 300fps. The type of paint will always be more significant than the marker . Saying that impulses give bigger bruises than other markers is tosh (in my opinion) .

Mr Christmas tree !!! top man your reaction to that blind firing was totally cool in the same situation i cant say i wouldn't have hit the guy. walking away and dealing with it through the correct channels is a credit to you Bud.

Spikee same bulid as scribble sorry to shatter your delusions but scribble is a racing snake I am not saying your back player material quite yet but no I have seen more spare flesh than I care to mention and try to forget ( you guys all forgetting and just ripping them tops off ect)o:

Welts even I get them I have a beauty on my knee taken whilst marshalling and still just have the scars from a year or so back nice set of 7 to the hand so now like lovley liz I preach gloves at all times.
Justin when we were playing on the sup air we were croning up to 280 but i had dontated sup air to a far greater need so we were cronning up to 300fps max.

You know the 2 worst welts I have had came at close range of course! But if I had to pin point them they would be the wrist and the inner thigh. I couldn't bend my wrist the entire next day!
