I would just like to personally thank everyone who helped make the 1st Welsh Open such a success, yes there were a few problems, but hey aren't we human?
Look at the plus points, we ran 148 games and only had a couple of incidents, speaking as a player I have seen and experienced much worse, the venue was sublime, a most picturesque setting.
The standard of play exceptional, and the marshals worked their asses off, as a player you get to spend an hour tops on the field, but as a marshal ................. and you are expected to stay sharp all day, a big thank you to all of them.
John the site owner, thanks to his vision and permission to carve up the hallowed turf what a surface.
To Silv and NIc a blinding job on the PA. and scoreboards.What do you guys think did it make a difference?
