wearing kit in public

Having just seen a guy in my local tesco's wearing an eclipse Jersey it got me thinking about wearing kit in public. Personally the only time I wander round in my Jersey is on the way to an event.

Do many people wear their kit for 'day to day' stuff?

Nope, as most companies have a selection of casual clothing, so I tend to buy and wear that. I once went to the local newsagents in my playing gear, just before a tourney and the bloke behind the counter asked if I was going motorcross racing...

I have worn my stuff around Sainsburys, since I popped in on the way home. I also walk to the paintball park near my home and have to go past a few busy pubs and whatnot, get a few strange looks (Especially when I'm in my Joy gear)

I have in the past but to be fair the pants are comfy as hell to lounge round in so popping out to the shop or the pub wearing kit doesn't bother me.

Saw a guy going down the Buchanan Street, Glasgow in a JT jersey back in 2004. I talked to him for a couple minutes about the local scene.

Only on the way to/from events. I've flown on a plane in playing gear but only because there was no room in my kit bag for them and it was to an event in Germany...

Kit in public other times is un-needed.

I usually wear it on the way to and from my local site, and I walk through a pretty busy shopping centre on the way, get a few looks as I usually have my mask attached to a zipper on my Bag and carrying a box paint, few looks go your way, but tbh its worth the looks
