That mount looks good, a nice small profile.
It worked out that the top of the go pro was about half of the hopper

All made from one of the adapters in the box with a few bits chopped off and some cable ties :)

Here's an option on barrel mounting:

Grippy & non scratch.
Below it's shown held in place with straps, but will be best with cable ties.
(It's actually being worked on for mounting a camera to something a bit different to the norm)

Parts are:
Bicycle inner tube
Zip ties or straps
Camera hot shoe mount

Cut the inner tube, spike a hole in it
Dismantle the mount, put it inside the inner tube and poke out of the hole
Reassemble the mount
Wrap the inner tube around the barrel, secure with cable ties
Screw down a nut on the mount to doubly secure the mount
Screw up a nut on the mount to secure the camera

fitted mine by attaching a small side rail to my etha so the camera is offset to the hopper. you can get a set of rails from magpul. they come in 2 sizes, long and short, just use two tiny self tapping screws to attach

I find that when a a go pro is strapped to the side of my mask or head it really feels lob sided and distracting

From testing so far I find you get more usable footage from wearing it on my head, I have modified some mounts and I have it attached to my I4's now instead of wearing it with the head strap but have yet to test it properly, I will take some photos and post them here of how I currently have it mounted and post them here.

I used the bike handle bar mount, put some electrical tape around the markers barrel and tried it:

1) Off the side of the barrel, good but it made the marker a bit of a bigger target. (Got a great video of the lens being directly hit.)
2) In front of the hopper (still on the markers barrel)

I was tempted to put it on the side or top of my mark/head but thought it might make me as a target bigger.

Edit: With the gopro on the barrel I ended up taking a lot of "footage" aha ... good for scaring your team mates a little when you point your gun at them to video them too. ;)
