Once upon a time on a lil ol forum at p8ntballer.com, players moaned about how they could never win cash prizes at smaller events here in UK.

Now there is a 5man event coming up at the D7 grounds (next weekend?) Which offers cash prizes and only a few teams are confirmed!......People wanna win money but arn't willing to pay a lil extra for the chance of doing so? Hypocritical muthabiznotches all of you!

....How do you expect more cash money prize events to be run if hardly anyone supports them!?

It's like these guys who moan about being fat, yet have a stick on standby to change channels incase the tv remote fails!

i think that paintball will have to go mainstream before anyone wins anything.

there prollie aint enough monney floating around for sites and companies to put their hands in their pokets for cash prizes.

when paintball goes mainstream, there will be more premotions
and opertunities for companies and in turn make more monney.

I see your point, BUT if players expect to see more of these events around (1st prize is what £800?) then they need to pull out all of the stops to support them.

Mark-thats logical enough, but a while ago there was some thread I can't be bothered to dig up where players were saying they wanted cash money events like in the states, claiming it could 'improve brit paintball', 'make things more competitive', amongst other things....
