What happened to it man? Last I heard it was goin strong..

By the way Ambush is a wicked site to train at, and is well worth the trip down. And you cant go wrong with Notts Skirmish.

Any more news on a new site nr Northampton? LJ might be in the know ;)

We had a brand new JT field, brand new netting, flat as you like surface, pub facing the field!

For all of those who played it i'm sure you would agree.

Have you still got the netting and the rights to the field?

If so we should organise a joint payed for field from the Somanc crew.

Manchester Extreme
Manc Union
And anyone else from the area.

All contribute a set amount and create a well run, weekly training event?

We could use Leek as the training ground if need be, as there is no need for netting there - but we would need to organise somewhere to lock-up the field

Tommy-gun - Dunno mate, one week we played it, the next i turned on the p.c and saw it for sale on the forum? And to this day, i haven't a clue as to why it was sold.

Burb - Dunno about the netting m8, or the rights to the field (think we may have?)

But the field was sold to Lincoln storm.

Any details u need about it, just p.m Leigh from eXodus.

But as far as the joint field for SoManc goes......

I personally think that it's a cool idea, if everyone contributed.(shouldn't be that much i reckon)

The Field bought by Lincoln Storm is being used to setup the new Combat Zone training ground, this is 2 NPPL/millenium sized fields at the moment, soon to be 3 + an X ball pen.

We are hopefully putting the finishing touches to the netting this weekend. The fields are completely flat and stayed pretty dry during the insane weather in recent months.

More details will follow when the site is finalised. This site will be open every weekend for training! (as far as I know anyway...)

Couldn't we use the lock up at Leek??

Even set up between as little as 3 teams the payments would be easily affordable, Hell I still think it's doable just by ourselves....

Sure we can afford £3500 Paul, which id thought of that earlier!

We wont be able to use the lock up at leek as its for weebles cars, and he will get serious on our ass. The other lock-up is Andys and im sure he wont let us use it!

Boy's you know if you have any plans what so ever, we would be up for getting involved!! There should be training facilities!! Jud put's on a really good day, but he can't be expected to do all the work and fork out for all the equipment all the time.... We really just need space to hold a training event and the rest can be worked out!! If we could get land available for saturday's and sunday's then I know that if we put are heads together we could make it work!!

Look at the tournout for the Manchester Extreme day's!! Jud has to turn people away because there's just not the facilities!!

You guy's have a field, Jud has a field and I know we could get our grubby paws on one easy enough so if we can find the space then this is something we need to do!!

Problem being??? Are people prepared to do this as a none profit outfit??? That appears to be where the problem's start!
