No, I think I've made my point. I'm sure that the Jerry Braun thread was very exciting,( I particuarly liked this very paintball related point :
I would have thought the worst moment for an atheist is when he stands in front of God come judgement day
) but I'll take your word for it. I wouldn't be able to comment as I suspect the people and situations you've been discussing are outside my scope of interest.
I have a saying I like to use: " Better to be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt"
If would indulge me with one final quote, and then I will consider the matter closed..................

END OF DARKWERK'S POST

Darkwerk, it is I and other moderators, who close matters, not you, understand ????????

KO, I don't think for one minute he was looking for a literary duel at all, he was making a point of just how assinine some posts can be and was using a quote from one of yours (which I have removed now) that seemingly fitted the bill.

Good lord almighty!
I go out to practice one day, and all sorts of crazy sh*t starts!

Dark, listen to Robbo, I've lived in the UK for a while and met my fair share of idiots (the scariest one was from Wales).

So all you folks better settle down, before I get out my caning stick and whoop some @$$!

PS How's this for a twist to that God quote.....
I would have thought the worst moment for a christian is when he stands in front of God come judgement day, and he finds out the Jews were right....:D
If someone worships the devil, and he does it wrong, will he go to heaven?

Now, now boyz

Stop fighting and bickering, we all know you don't mean it. Okay we all know that sytraxz has some personel issues, but his quality of post has got far better recently. I do beleive I actually saw some punctuation in some of his posts recently. We Brits have some spam posters (hell I do it myself at times) but with a bit of guidence and gentle flaming we can meld them to better ways. Because at the end of the day we are a happy friendly bunch of People who will do anything to help out our fellow baller. (as long as its not on the field during a game:D )
And ro0ster I thought you and the corrosion guys were honary Brits whilst over here.

He quoted -ME- to serve HIS purposes? Never to be! Many thanks for taking it out of his post. I didn't see it but I know that if it was bad enough (probably taken out of context, twisted, and/or possibly spliced) for it to catch your attention glaringly enough to remove it, I know you were 100% justified in doing so. Wow, if I'd had you around, Robbo, to take care of matters like that, I'd probably have a lot fewer enemies! Misquotation is indeed a swift and terrible weapon to wield against someone, with equal effect from intentional and unintentional instances.

Cheers mate!

Licker- I actually asked Pete on the X-ball thread what we are considered over here, and he never replied. So I really have no idea what our current country status is. We are American, but we play all our ball in England and Europe:confused: So while we are in England, are we guesting as Brits?????? If so, I am going to try and get 1 or 2 of my fellow team members to try out for the X-ball team;)

If the quote I used was "bad enough" to justify having pulled from my post, why wasn't it removed from Killeronions original posting? The quote wasn't twisted and or spliced. The context was the idiocy of the sentiments expressed, and this was a perfect example. It was cut and pasted straight from his original.
I did intend to follow Robbo's advice and keep my head down.
I was more than willing to end this and move on. That is what I meant by saying " I will consider the matter closed..." but apparently I'm not allowed that.

basically the Jerry Braun thread was about the NPPL (the players) and the PSP (the people who promotions the events) splitting up. So now the events that were called the NPPL are now called PSP because they (the PSP) no longer have the permission of the NPPL to use the NPPL name. So instead of being the NPPL Las Vegas Open, it will be the PSP Las Vegas Open.

Jerry Braun was just explaining this ...

At least, that's what I got out of it ...
