So you're telling me that in three months (roughly the amount of time between the 4 and the FLY and the FLY and the Speed 05, and between the Speed 05 to the G7) WDP thought up, prototyped, tested, re-prototyped, tested again and released an entirely new gun design? They oughtta be working for NASA.Originally posted by Dark Warrior
So you people would rather that WDP and Planet sit on there technological advances for a year. You are getting the benefits as they happen, no pleasing some people.

The thing is...WDP have brought out new markers pretty fast, and I agree they havnt just developed them overnight.
The only gripe I have, is how much better they are from the previous version??? to justify the cash outlay for the newest marker???
Going from the LED to LCD...fair enough.
From the IR3 to A4.....give you that one.
A4 to old speed........get that one on price.
New speed to A4 fly...not sure there.
A4 fly to G7.......performance??? looks???
I mean how much better is the G7 over an old LCD?
Set up correctly how fast does the lcd fire? and how efficient on air is it?? they both will have execellent service and workmanship.
So I think it comes down to the "boys new toy's" attitude. And here I think WDP wins hands down...it will be the best marker they have produced, just cause its the newest....but for how long......about 3 months???
Fair point!Originally posted by Tom Allen
You've got to remember guys, it's not A4 fly to speed 05, and speed 05 to G7.
It's speed to speed 05, and A4 fly to G7.
The speed is marketed as a low price basic featured Angel, and the A4/G7 is the flagship model, so the interval between markers is not so frequent when you keep them in their right categories.

Gaz,you missed out the rippin euro angel, after the a4,b4 th g7! as for how much better is the g7 over the lcd, shoot em back to back and it will instantaneously become obvious...one is a seriously good gun,the g7 is a well, how can you describe it....you,ve prob all seen the film 'predator' where the coloured fella picks up his dead dudes gat and punches a hole in the ozone layer by mowing down a whole rainforest??with me so far?its like that just not hydralically fed!(well not yet,but watch this space!)
WHAT????? From LCD to G7 is immense, I can't believe you can even try and make that point especially when noone's even shot it yet!Originally posted by garycarrot
Couple of good fair points there. Not really a good way to compare the markers, But still feel the performance upgrade from LCD to G7 is not that HUGE.
