Hesky did have a couple of moments, obviously that loverly pass to set up Stevie G, and the attempt to decapitate the USofA's goalie apart from that he did fall over a lot

I think Heskey was the best part of England poor attacking force, did Rooney touch the ball at all? We were poor at best, wright Phillips did his usual job of running around without delivering the ball, Lampard was non-existent as an attacker and the less said about Green the better. The only positive we can take is at least the game wasn't the most boring so far.

I only support football of any sort when it's internationals and that's more due to patriotism than the football so i'm more than happy to be corrected about any of the following!

Hesky played well, Gerrard and Rooney seemed to be tied up by the yanks most of the game with 2 or 3 players moving on them whenever they got the ball.

I think the Americans quite simply had a better game plan. They were unlikely to win it outright but fought hard for the draw and as i said, they appeared to nullify the effects of Gerrard and Rooney very comprehensivley.

I think thats fairly spot on to be honest, which is disappointing considering how amazing Capello is supposed to be.

We should fair better against teams that we are actually able to counter-attack against, but thats not going to help us if we ever meet a team like Italy, who can defend better than the yanks whilst still giving us **** in attack.

Rooney was marked by 3 people everytime he looked up, Gerrard had a good first half, and for me yet again Lampard disappointed.

Glen Johnson however needs to have a few more attempts from the edge of the box!

Rooney did start to play when Crouch started playing. (before he did always have 2 to 3 defenser to mark him), Not rooney fault, just good gameplan for USA.

I'm not really impressed with Heskey neither, and Lampard isn't playing like he does for chelsea (I've never been impressed when he play for england, but he is damn good at chelsea).

Lennon (the right winger, please correct if i'm wrong) wasn't impressive neither, despite 2 or 3 good ball, and wright phillips did the usual "nothing" that he can do so well (but score unbelievable goals every couple of game)
