I think they would have to be much much cheaper then regular paintballs (the cost of raw materials passed onto the customer) then they would be spot on for training as its only to train with you know if you are tagged and by cheating your only cheating yourself.

I don't know what materials they made these "water" balls out of, but I assume they're still using a gelatin shell. That takes a while to disintegrate, and still leaves a gooey blob on the floor.

I fail to see any advantage over normal paintballs? what they don't leave a mess so you can use them indoors? .... they're still going to leave a load of shell on the floor.
