Well...
As soon as Paul came over with it I was thinking Oh Christ, don't get me started on another marker...please!
Now, I'll tell you what I honestly think...
They look ugly imho, there's no denying it, there is nothing fancy about it what so ever. If you are after something for vanity, this isn't the marker for you.
I was also interested because it had a Halo on it, and I'm not a big fan of Halo's as they have always chopped masses of paint when I've used them with Impy's and Angels in the past. And I didn't think it would be any different with any other marker.
Went to the chrono with 3 x 140 pots. Consistency was ok, nothing shockingly good, +/- 8fps, (but I'm never sure how accurate these things are anyway). So far, so normal - then you pull the trigger...
This is by far the fastest thing I have ever shot, so ridiculously easy to fire fast it was untrue. How fast I was actually firing I couldn't say (I don't regard myself particularly quick on the trigger anyhow) but it was certainly faster than I ever have done before...
I can't really say anymore than that. If Paul takes it to another event and you are seriously thinking about a new marker - a couple of pots through one of these could easily convince you. The thing never chopped a ball or skipped a beat. **** hot piece of kit. It reminded me of the millenium falcon in that it might not look like much, but it's got it where it counts...
Few questions for you Paul...
1. What is the support in the UK? Is it send back to alpha?
2. How long does support last?
3. Finally, how much and how easy are spares for these things?
