I know this is about a month old but figured I might have some info to add.

Air probably will not work, actually. For whatever reason the Warsensor WS-66/MilTec MT-66 (same gun) do not like HPA. If you use it generally speaking you'll have recocking issues. This was a big issue back when these markers were more popular.

Splaters, go in with a full CO2 tank and see what happens. The WS-66 is a pretty straight forward marker so the issues of not firing are simple to diagnose usually.

If you pull the trigger and nothing happens, you have an issue in your trigger where it's not dropping the sear. (Assuming the marker is cocked.) If you pull the trigger, hear a loud click, and feel the striker slam forward but the gun doesn't fire, then you need to check and make sure your valve is in the right place and all the parts are there. If you pull the trigger, the striker slams forward, and you get some air out the barrel but the ball is firing real slow, the bolt may be in upside down. This was actually a pretty common problem. I would guess the problem is either the bolt in upside down or not enough CO2 in the tank. WIthout modification, these markers need about 500-600 psi to opperate.

A little about me. My name is Robotech and one of you folks posted my WS-66 tear down guide up above (thank you...). Up until this year I shot a WS-66 as my primary marker.

She just got replaced by a Dye DAM.

I've had the WS since I bought it new in 2004 and have owned a couple more in the years between now and then. (Wish I hadn't sold them.) They are great markers and the Hop-Up barrel they come with is superior, in my opinion, to the Tippmann Flatline and the Apex barrels when it comes to putting a backspin on the ball. It does work and work well. If you can find one, and don't have it already, I highly suggest picking up a Delrin bolt for this marker, polishing the internals and the striker, and cleaning then waxing the barrel. Does wonders. Also, since you have to run CO2, if you go with a remote line setup you're better off than going right into the ASA. If you can, add a Palmer Stabilizer Regulator under the grip in place of the ASA and add a second one on the CO2 remote valve. Set the first one to 800 and then dial in the second around 500-600. With these modifications my WS will shoot 285 over the chrono plus or minus 2 fps.

I can answer any questions you guys have. Not many of these markers still around but they're great guns if you can find them.
