Check the source HTML code there is a date near the top that says the page was created the 10th of October 1997.
On the page there is also the rules modifications that allowed turbo (8.75 balls per second)
These are old parts of the rules - however the new rules also state that your marker must be gravity (or garvity whichever you prefer) fed. The warp feed gets around this because technically it is gravity fed (there is a hopper attached). Also this rule was made when there was no option for markers other than those made to run by means other than gravity to have "non-gravity" (force fed not anti-gravity, hehehehe) feed. Since the warp can be used on almost any marker there is no longer that need to single out a certain feed system.
