I would suggest that you find a major paintball sponsor in Mexico and ask about this. Im sure they don’t want this type of action going on. They will never be able to organize tournaments if none of the US teams turn up.

Don’t let the bustards get away with it.

I say boycott Mexico until this action has been resolved.

Hey norm - again, like RePete I don't want to say add anything pointless, but hey we are a COMMUNITY, we stick together and we SUPPORT. I am angry and gutted as hell for you.

There have to be industry leaders reading or watching this board (Robbo - help!). Do something about this please, evn if it is just an article that gets circulated wider or finds it's way to a mexican paintball promoter or something. I hope it's not futile -cos that makes me even MADDER.

Man, I know im re-iterating what has already been said, but jeez I feel really digusted and upset that people would actually do that kinda thing. You probably hit the nail on the head with your "Corrupt" jibe, people like that deserved to be peppered @ close range by many ballers.
It these kind of incidents that will deter ballers from wanting to travel to certain destinations.

one thing people that dont play paintball realize is that we are all like family; we have some of the same views...we love the sport. i really want to thank you all. As for the donations, no thanks...that's too cool of you to offer but were going to try and figure out a way to get back on our feet...maybe start all over with spyders or something.

FYI Norm (and everybody else)
That sort of conduct is nothing new and anybody who lives on or near the Mexican border for any period of times knows you don't take anything of significant value if you drive across the border. (A circumspect offer of some dollars in cash might have cut the markers loose particularly if they had no idea what they were really worth and it really helps to speak the language.)
Flying into the big resort cities is another thing altogether and not a problem as long as you're reasonably careful--like you ought to be when traveling anyplace you're not familiar with.
Back in the day the local and federal police used to hijack boats, steal cars and literally do hold ups out on the desert highway between the US borders and Gulf of Baja.
Norm, if you can identify the location and time of day and date if not the specific officers involved and harass everybody you can think of including closest Mexican officials in US and get hold of your local television and newspaper outlets with the story you might generate enough publicity and outrage to make a dent. Worth a try.

Who knows, maybe we'll just get fed up enough to invade and annex the place in a few years anyway. They apparently are so insistent upon wanting to come up here we might as well take over and make it more like us down here to save them the trip. I seriously doubt the world would miss the peso and ANOTHER red, white, and green flag. Plus I think the amount of drug smuggling would go down around 30-40% because they would have one less country that refuses extradition of international criminals. (Only because our government doesn't have the stones to put a gun to their head and make them, but that's a whole new can of worms.) Would anyone object to it? Don't think so. No one would miss Mexico.
