Yeah true that is... think windows 95b was probably the most stable o/s micro****e ever released. Shame they screwed everyone with the USB thing though :(

Ever since that its been ****e operating systems full of security bugs and stupid problems which just seem to appear after months even if you haven't done anything new to your machine... :(

Windows 98 was just Windows 95 with extra's. They added stuff that the Win9x in a whole could not cope with. It was too far ahead of the times to make a clean home system

I have to say it though, if u were just running clients they did the job, especially on Novell and MS Networks.

Windows 95 was simple hence its working abilities.

NTFS 5.0 Rocks for new Windows 2003 Server Networks, just installed all the new stuff and Norton 2003 Corporate luckily and its all rocking now :D.

God its good at resource management, and alot easier than 2000 Server.

Stay Cool Under Pressure Fellow Administrators :D.

Damn I hate that norton crap aswell!

It even changes all the pop3 settings in outlook express for some reason without even asking. I never use outlook or anything norton but so many people do, it's rather crap.

I use Norton and never have a problem with it, always picks up viruses on me e-mail and stuff. Works well as long as you configyre it properly. Must be an old version you were running, think it was 2001 that changed your pop3 settings :)

yeah f-ing great

bloody worms don't ya just hate them. I spoent mosdt of the day trying to work out why my system would work fine until I hooked up to the net only to get into work to find out that theres a worm flying around. How annoying was that two minutes of net time before my system shuts time thats hardley enough time to work out whats going on let alone downloading a patch or fix [or surf some smut come to think of it]. I EVEN FORMATTED MY SYSTEM AND THE BUGGER WAS STILL THERE:mad: . found out where I was going wrong though but the next time I come across a hax0r I'm going to rip off his hands and shove them where the sun don't shine.

Just like to point out that this virus uses a vulnerability only found in NT based systems i.e. NT4 windows 2000 and windows XP. Therefore people running windows 9x/ ME have been laughing themselves silly.
