You missed the point... When you have an electro you just need to lube and change your batteries - When your Cocker or other marker breaks down you're screwed!! Go electro... ;)

guess you never have probs with the solenoids, boards, connections or anything else then?

you must be lucky cos my IR3 had to have its board replaced, shocker needed new solenoids and imp vision had a wire that was shorting.

For the easy ROF of the electro's I'll make sure to carry a second battery.
I haven't had my electro's that long (less than a year) but haven't had any failures of the major components. My BKO gives definite signs that the battery is about to go... like chopped balls. My son's Imagine has a low battery light. No reason for going down because of a battery problem if you pay attention. I know how many shots I'll get off a charged battery... when I get close I change batteries. Problem solved.

Agreed Cowface... I doubt that my digits have ever seen 10 bps, but the effort of pulling my microswitch trigger versus the pull on my mechanical markers definitely makes a difference in my shot to shot consistency. My electro marker barely moves whereas my F4 didn't need an agitated hopper.:D

With electros just barely any more than mechanical markers (as in the case of the Spyder line) I can't see any reason to not get one. (okay, mechanicals are cheaper because you don't throw as much paint!)
