The whole game area covers around 60 acres & at no point can you see clearly for more than 100 yards, especially come summer...
Sounding better and better...

Hopefully we can get a few more southerners interested and bring up a minibus! :D

One of the Best

The War of the Roses events were "classic" scenario games and I am sure with YPC backing the event it will again be one of the best scenario games held this year.

Will Andy manage to get "Lord Olly Potts of Salford" out of retirement to lead the Western Troops!!!

Steve:) :)

Again, copied & pasted from another forum;

The missions are still being worked out but we will play the famous fruit machine game for one of the games.

The safe area extension is in the planning process as we speak. Last time we just got a huge marquee, this is something that we don't want to do this time.

The new extension will be seperate to the existing safe area but when finished should seat around 400 own equipment players.

The existing safe area is designed for first timers which we adapt to for walk on's. As the walkon's grew we knew we needed a new safe area, now we have the excuse to get our fingers out.

The good thing is that this purpose built own gun safe area will be used after the big game for other events to be announced.

Remember we have done 3 of these before.

As a player is eliminated they make their way to their teams staging area where a marshal is waiting. The player gives the marshal their number and colour (team). eg 55 blue, 12:25pm The marshal notes the time the player enters the staging area. That player then has 10 mins to get re potted, air'd, fed before re entering the staging area. After 10 mins the player is then released into their re entry coridor.

Using this method, an accurate account of eliminated players from each team can be gathered for final scoring.

Again this method was used in the first 3 big games and has subsequently been used when we have used this format for first timers on normal site days.

There are a number of entry points along the re entry coridor thus stopping ambushes at a re spawning point.

That's it now.
21st August is in my diary.
This sounds like a brilliant big game - all of the stuff that Robtattoo just mentioned is music to my ears.
We've got a walk-on down here at our Southampton Paintball Park on the 29th May.
I'll see if I can drum up some interest and get a group together.
:D
