There are no definitive ways to play any field other than to mention generalities and these are extremely basic and commonsense.

You need width and eventual penetration.
You set the team up to achieve these requirements.
One of the biggest mistakes teams make is believing that 40's (or 50's) have to be made form the 'get go' when all the best teams in the world will err on the side of getting to primaries safely and then moving up the field very quickly from then on.
It's much easier to get to a 30 and then bump up to the 50's than get to a 50 off the bat when u got guys set up to shoot your incoming lane from game on.

Don't look for answers that are too specific here, watch games and how they unfold, who does what, who gets shot and why and let experience be your guide rather than listening to people who might not have a responsible grasp on our sport.
I am not for second dissing anybody in this thread, I am merely mentioning it might be better to learn thru experience.
