Aye, problem with standard 8 channel radios is finding an unused frequency, especially at the larger number games.

We ended up purchasing a private channel and some fancy motorolla radios. Not the cheapest option but if you are going to use often, worth it.

and in big games craig, clear radio comms is an essential. !!! nothing worse than running out of air, going off to refuel and coming back out unable to find the team.

We looked at some second hand motorola systems but went for the new chinese radios which some how worked out so much cheaper.......its as if the chinese can make anything for a fraction of the cost!! lol!!!

Not even just the channels, they also tend to work better at range I assume it because its better quality equipment.

never looked at the non branded stuff from the far east as alot of the team work in the private comms sector in iraq/afghan, so just leave it to them :)



Never been a fan of those throat mic's, the in ear / hoop round ear with a lapel mic setup is what we;ve used. (Im sure theres proper names for the kit :D )
