Just wanted to say a big thank you to Sharon, Dave and everyone else at On The Edge. Had a cracking day! Everyone was very friendly, met some top lads, the whole day was extremely well organised and just had a great time.

As a newbie I was a little aprehensive as to standard of play, my own inexperience etc, but the whole day was brilliant and myself and fellow newbie John we're made to feel very welcome.

A few people have critisised the price and I can understand that for a few younger players it might be a little bit expensive. But the way I look at it is that its a family run site who unlike some other bigger companies are just trying to make a living and not totally rip you off, so by that token I personally dont mind paying a little bit more for a walk on. Believe me the extra money was WELL worth it for the friendly atmosphere and personal touch.

Many thanks again and I'll see you in May!!

I thought the numbers were fine if anything not having hunderds of people helped me get a handle on the games.

Which one was the new field?

Iv'e not been down to Congleton for about 18 months or so, as the place was really run down (swampy safe area and uninterested marshalls the 2 biggest issues). I know it's been taken over, but its going to take a lot for most of the group i play with (about 15 of us) to start going again. Theres so much choice within 2 hours drive of Manchester now. Maybe if you got some pictures of the improvements you have made on the internet people might start taking notice and think about trying the site again?? I know that 20 people might be a nice number for people who havn't played much but its not going to make the site much money.
