Supair Sunday 13th August

Hello Guys!! Okay to clarify where we all stand on SUpair Sunday 13th August!

1) Firstly Supair Sundays have always been a half day format. This has been the case ever since they first started. Teams that have been down and have played a full day have been able to do so only because the field was not necessarily booked for training in the afternoon. There has been an on-going arrangement that the Warlords could use the field for training in the afternoon.

2) We went with the half day format as this suited all players at the time and allowed for a nice fun half day Sunday session. It has only been since the start of 2006 that we have considered extending the session to a full day. This has not necessarily happened because the general turnout / bookings for the day have not been enough to warrant the changeover.

3) As many of you know we have moved the Supair arena onto the main site now. This makes all the NPF facilities closer for all players and generally adds to the quality of the session. The work on the new arena is ongoing and Leo and our crew are working hard each week to continue to make improvements. We have just taken delivery of a brand new NPPL Sup'air field today - this will be in use and ready for you guys to use on 13th August! We do try to listen to all your views but it is impossible to suit everyone and we are doing our best to provide walk-on players with a good fun day on a good field.

4) Since changes have come into play we have seen an upturn in players / teams wanting to attend these sessions which is obviously a good thing for all concerned. This means that we can adapt moreso ( within reason ) to want you guys want.

5) The 13th August session will only be a half day as I am unable to move the team that are booked for training ( I have checked with them today ). However, from September onwards we will run the Sup'air Sundays as a FULL DAY session and hopefully this means that as many of you will attend as possible.

6) I am working with Matthew at the moment on arranging a special session on the field for walk - on players / members which will feature the all new WDP Angel 1 marker!!! I have to confirm details with Matt so please watch this space - we are hoping to schedule this for September!!

I hope the above answers your questions lads - we are trying !! Bear with us because we do listen! I am pleased that the changes we are making appear to be having a good positive effect on increasing the appeal of the Supair Sunday sessions and we look forward to seeing you all down at the NPF soon! Please feel free to call me with any queries - I'll do my best to help you out, Watch this space for details of that extra special session!

Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!

Kerry :)

NEV is not bothered about any of the above so i aint even gonna read it...

I was there at the last one and i had a supeb day, crazy fun, game after game after game.... Awesome

At the end of the day you can pay over £70 to enter and play a tourney, where you get about 9, 2-minute games. Come to this event and you can play a 2-minute game, and return to the start gate to go again. And you can keep this up till you cant walk any more or you're too tired to lift your marker.

Last event i only spent £50 and played a stupid amount of paintball and i strongly believe that i learned every angle of the field and learned individual moves that could never be learned in any training session.

THIS EVENT HAS EARNED NEV's SEAL OF APPROVAL

GET INVOLVED!!!!!!!!!!

About the lunchtime (around 1300h-1330) finish, most people dont realise that this is a relaxed tournie, you can play as many, or as few games as you like, quick turn arounds mean more games. plus its a good oportunity to show off in front of the general public that are playeing onsite!! its a great day out, plus its good value for money. any people that dont have a team, give Kez a ring (0121 327 3961), and book in anyway! they'll be plenty of people to put a scratch team together and use this day as training. hope to see you all there
