the i frame came on the marker when i got it.As far as i am aware it is about £125ish. Not sure how adjustable it is as the pull on it at the moment is about 1mm which is fine for me. It looks really good lowers the overall height of the marker and the trigger action is absolutely fantastic.

I had an Angel with Angel Air,it was small,light and fairly accurate.Ive changed over to a Freak Factory Impulse Vision with a voodoo low rise,voodoo full flow valve,delrin bolt,Blade trigger and lots of shiny add on bits.After 4 months use,the vision eye died on me.That wasnt a problem as Ross from Smart Parts europe fitted a new one at the Max Masters,(thanks Ross).I have noticed that the Impulse is faster than an Angel,and definitley more accurate,my opinion.The best thing about an Impulse is you get a Max-Flow system as standard,which knocks the price down.You dont get any air system with the Angel,(as you already know!),that tends to make the Angel too expensive.The other thing with the Angel is all the gadgets on the Lcd display,I cant say I ever needed them,so they werent worth the exta cost for me.Given the choice,id say buy an Impulse........

Go with Angel or Impulse

The Impulse and Angels are great markers because they work all the time. The Matrix needs upgrades to work properly, and still will break down on you a lot more han the other two mentioned.

As for performance they all shoot very well an about the same. The Imulse trigger system needs work though. This and foregrip however are the only important uppgrade and won't cost too much at all$. (gadget grip might be standard these days and the trigger will run about 30$ e.g. planeteclipse) The Impulse will still come out at a great price. Delrinbolts and reg mods are fine tuning you may add on so is the eye. Overall the Impulse is very gentle with your paint and far more reliable than Bushmasters, Intimidators, Matrix and more.

The Angel lcd and IR3 are great markers, fairly similar performancewise. The ball detecting system, looks, size, gadgets are improvements, but not very noticable ones. I was dissapointed with new Angel hoping it would incorporate different and better shooting performance. Maybe through closed bolt and or lower operating pressure. Angels are great but doesn't shoot better than the Impulse. True accuracy is found when combining e.g. Freak, great paint and autococker (with Racegun grip) or Akalmp's Excalibur.

Conclusion the angel and Impulse will deliver in any situation. But in the pricerange of the new Angels you'll have many interesting options. The Impulse is the best deal in paintball, without question, but Smart Parts charge high prices for their aftermarket
parts.

Every one tells you the matrix is a gas hog well i can lob 5 x 140 pots and a hopper on a 1.5 3000 fill and that is with out the new bolt wich gets you 33% more shots.
As for going wrong ive never had a problem but i strio mine after every torny,to be fair one of my team mates did have some problems with his but diablo gave us all the bits i needed to fix it for zip.
I have team mates with shockers angels and cockers and i spend more time fixing them than the matrix.
Just try them all and use the one you like the most as allways if you are ever at a torny that the SKULLS are playing look us up and have a go of the MATRIX.

After 3 years of customising Angels and LCD's, Adrenalin, the most respectable custom angel shop has just switched over to Impulses.........work it out.

angels are overpiced, glory machines, but i'd still have one!

Ive just got back my Freak factory vision from SP europe after the vision eye died after using it for the first time , reliability has'nt been the impy's strong point from the start im afraid, although hopefully the new cricket board will sort that.

i founf that when it worked, it was nearly as accurate as my old evo, but twice as fast.

P.S Impy's can keep up with any angel.

I wonder how long it will be until the Adrenalin Shocker rolls around. The Imps appear to be rock solid, though I haven't shot their newest one yet. If I have the money at the time, like if I start getting $20 tips, one will be in my hand at first opportunity.

Hmmmm sounds to me like Adrenaline made a mistake dropping the over priced glory machines!

Yeah, I too lament that Adrenalin departed from making Angels, but trust that their Imps and Shockers will be of outstanding quality as well and should please the connoiseur's fingers every bit as much. They were/are though, and they will be missed.
