I would be really grateful for peoples input on the Voodoo Impulse and Diablo Matrix (with bolt and reg upgrades). I might just end up getting a C+C LCD or IR3 angel .... what are peoples opinions?

Thanks

WDP all the way. I've fired a matrix, and it sounded as if it was going to die on me:( I currently own a Freak Factory Impulse, but don't like it and am trying to sell it on:rolleyes: Played with an Angel the other day, playing with another one this weekend, and have a second hand one in the post at the moment:D

Oh and saving the dollers to buy an IR3 as my main tournament shooter. WDP is quality through and through:D

Have fun

I wasnt sure about the impulse...mainly because its so fecking tall. I know a few people who really like the matrix with the mods tho. Admittedly Ive fired quite a few angels and they have always been sweet. I'm definately interested in a IR3 but I'd play a couple of games with it to check the grip and balance I think.

Cheers for the input anyhow.

Hi mate i have fired all three
Angel ldc i found to be superb no probs there great marker

the martix was one of the latest i got to test and i trully found this to be an outstanding marker accuracy was spot on opp pressure was very low and trigger is like nothing else
they where so impressive that two memebers on our team and another one walker from pimps are going out to buy one for themsleves have a go of one mate you wont be disapointed.
the only down side is looks howvere they have made an improved version and it looks out of this world
a truly top end marker mate!! go for one

ok, my pov on the IR3, i have never shot 1, never seen one, eccept pics, but do u need all those gadgets????

infra red, gadget thingys, it has more thingys then my gerber.
its like gogo gadget trigger, or gogo gadget red thingy,,

matrix, i ve always want to fire 1 but dont know ne1 who has them, eccept for the ppl on p8nt. there accurate, bit of a gas hog from what i have heard, a shocker but nicer.

Impulses- well, i always want an impulse, very sweet markers, look cool 2, its nice on co2 and air, not as accurate to a matrix tho, but, what the hell,, they look good,:)

No question, gotta try before you buy. Doesn't matter really which is the better marker, you need to get the one that you get on best with & feel most comfortable with.

Have to agree with Liz here.

I own an Impulse and love it, i can get tight with it (*ahem*) it feels comfy when i hold it behind my bunker.

Borrowed a shocker the other week and it was fast and accurate and undeniably was a great marker but just 4 my tastes a little too big compared to the impulse,

I can use both right handed but only the impulse on my left hand. And for playing the smaller bunkers it was definatly a disadvantage i found in the shocker.

Some one else will disagree and thats fine but the point is try them all before you buy any of them

out of the 3 markers that you have mentioned i have two, an IR3 and an Imp with all the voodoo kit and a hyperworks I frame on it. Both markers are really great to play with but the IR3 can lay down the paint a lot quicker. However i have noticed that the imp is more accurate than the IR3 but i'm not sure how much of this is attributable to the freak on the imp and the standard barrel on the IR3.
I'm sure that either of these markers would do you at tournement level or even just charging round the local woods like me :D
the one factor that does stand out apart from the techical goodies on the IR3 is the cost. Anice vision with voodoo kit can be got used in good nick for £400 an IR3 is almost double that.
Does look good though. Oh and the shiny silver bullet milled job is ****e for playing rec ball cos it stands out like a beacon in the woodland!
