Vision eye short sighted!

mmm so my marker cant see black shell paint.....ah well neather can my halo.....now i hope to god the paint at the weekend aint black!

Not according to Smart Parts they don't..
well it will see black paint but not very well and it will aslo see a black bolt if it is pushed in front of the eye as well.. (at least mine does)

Black balls and new vision...

Our team just received new Impulse Visions with the new vision, cricket board etc directly from SmartPartsEurope (SWEET ;)).
It does NOT like the paint with black shell - So you just have to buy paint in other colours... It doesn't have problems with split shells - only if it's black!!

If I remember correctly, you can adjust the sensitivity of the eye, you just have to make sure the eye is looking at the black half of the shell when adjusting....
I don't recall having a problem with black paint on my Timmy...at least with my old Classic. I haven't shot black through my Timmy with the WAS board yet.

The new boards cannot be adjusted they are digital rather then the old analogue ones which you used a small pot to adjust what the eye can see..
