By lost its flexibilty do you mean its stiffness or it becomes more difficult to feed to?

as in the fingers no longer returned fully to their original position after loading leaving a hole in the centre

After a while, as it has been stated, the super soft tends to lose the 'perk-i-ness' if you will, althought this effects absolutely nothing. if you're playing back i would reccomend the super soft, because i use a standard and find that its hard to re-load whilst shooting with that, where as when i used the standard it was a lovely job.
