dude 18 is one of the best yet man i am so into that show right now just gutted its the last one next week.

Any way just been on the phone to virgin/ntl and they have told me that to make up for sky spitting there dummy out they are bringing HBO over to the UK.

Now that means that we can get 24,lost and the new season of the sopranos the same time as the yanks do and i think that is a good exchange for sky 1.

HBO comes to us on the 1st of april.

Arrrgh, dont tell me that! I was blissfully unaware of how many episodes there were and was just fantasising that it was going to go on forever.

I hate tv, there is hardly ever anything i ever watch let alone like. But Heroes is fantastic, so many twists in the plot and the way the characters all link together is great.

There had better be a second season, soon!

Mooching round the 50, with the flag
i bet they will reappear.
2 channels, one of which is news, gone. but think of the lost revenue for sky for pulling this. it makes no sense at all. From what i've read, sky got 3p per day per customer that had sky 1 & news from Virgin media. now think how many people have cable, that would see the adverts on sky. If i was an advertiser and the company i PAY to advertise on decides to take its ball home cos they're greedy and almost half my target audience, i ain't gonna be happy.
Sky should be investigated by the monopolies council, first they buy max % of ITV cos virgin showed interest, then conveniently bring out a 3 for £30 bundle, like cable at the same time as wanting a 150% increase off VM? all a bit suss to me.

I say the opposite as in milton keynes much of the place is on NTL and supposedly we not allowed to out dishes up. Have a count of the number of satellite dishes that hav gone up on the past couple of years as the service and price from NTL was shockingly bad

Skys move makes perfect sense.....you only have to listen to what people are saying on here to realise that they are going to make a killing.

For those of you who haven't figured it out (apologies if you have).......at this moment in time, everyone is blaming or feeling angry towards ntl:Telewest/VM. But, it's an absolute coup for sky. They made bugger all from the deal originally and once VM bought out ntl:TW, they had them over a barrel. Pay double or we pull the channels......its a win/win for them. With the channels pulled, everyone moans that they will miss sky one, leave ntl:TW and join sky......so regardless sky win.

In a few months time, things will go back to normal, Sky will get paid for their channels again and all that happens is they have upped their subscriber base and still got paid for providing their channels to cable customers.....

A bit suss is an understatement :D

Personally, I would download the episodes you want to watch and wait for the sh1te to blow over. Or of course, live outside a cable area :p
