Any post that the user "Mad dog" writes or replies to will have the potential to infect anyones PC who reads them. I think his avatar has the VBS loveletter virus attatched to it. So could you either inform him to change his avatar or stop posting. I am probably sure he doesnt know he has this virus but it could cause a lot of damage if others contract it.

If Mad Dog reads this then the cause of your virus is:
DSCF0007 (paintball son)[1].JPG.vbs
That is the file which the virus is attached to.

I have called mad dog and let him know he is very concerned and said he will check out his system. He dose have lots of virus checking stuff. So I wonder is this Liz's virus she has mentioned and managed to get on her work comp through here? Or is it that MD has given it too the forum ekk either way not again it was bad enough draven giving us all the love u virus

Ok mods it's up to you guys now.

Dose the forum not have virus screening? not being a teccy I would not know if this was standard but it seems like some thing we should all have here to protect us

Nope the virus definitly originates from Mad Dogs avatar.
DSCF0007 (paintball son)[1].JPG.vbs is the infected file. This is is the same file as his avatar.

He appologies and can't belive it's by passed all his virus scanning protection. He is going to completely clean his hard drive and will not post again untill he has removed it. Poor loves only just started posting too.

All he has to do is get rid of his avatar. This is where the virus is spreading from. If he wants to use another avatar he has to check its properties and make sure that the file does not end with .vbs

If you don't have any virus checking system on your computer, how can you tell if you have the virus. I read the virus warning and then inadvertabtly opende the "england should win" thread and immediately back out when I realised it was a mad dog thread. I hope I didn't catch it.
