need to get hold of Tank for an exit
One I thought of on the fly which worked quite well - the site I work at has a rock just outside the safe area with a nice "socket shape" hole in it. Put a swollen picked up ball in the hole, shoot it - instant respect for goggles.

As for the safety talk, when I do one I spend probably 3 or 4 mins at the start, then re-inforce it again at the end of the talk - after all the info about how to get shot, how the marker works, how to do this that and the other, the punters tend to feel information overload, so it's worth reminding them to not get blind.

(and for the real muppets who still lift, there's the fact that a point blank shot to the eye at 300fps will actually take out a 3 inch cylinder of your brain - if the shock doesn't kill you, the blood loss will - how many paintball sites do you know which are right on the doorstep of the local hospital?)

bang out of order

i once caught a guy on the feild at a tourney with an allen key stuck in his battle pack, and it wasnt just a normal one but one with a big red handle on!!!!. whats that all about?
That's the type I was offered. The fact fhat they were on my team annoyed me even more. The fact that they didn't make much of it when I mentioned it made me even more irritated.

:(

It's those guys who have the allen key secreted in a seam in their gloves, or held in place between the velcro on their pads that you have to worry about!
On my team, in his pocket, chrony left at the top station, no on field chronoing, more or less admitted dialling.

Time before that one of my mates, (who used to run a 'mag) was convinced he saw someone at the back of the field, take a few shots, dial the back and take a few more. We'd been shot out at the time and I had my back to them but that's what he said he saw.

Walk on days are just asking for this kind of thing, I've only ever been chronoed once at the start of the day, never been teasted on field and never chronoed off. Even a random testing through the day would deter some of the diallers, better that than a lens smashed from a close range shot.

I mean really, do people have to do a stupid thing like that to win on a rec day????

Baffles me, I'm out there for fun :(
