Urgently need....

Pictures of the result of a paintball hit on an eyeball.
After the day I've had I need one, not for gory reasons just to scare the living daylights out of those damn punters who consistantly lift their masks on the feild. I'm getting so pissed off with these bunch of muppets when will they ever learn.
So come on you guys, you must know someone who has a piccy of this.:(

We used to shoot an egg!

First explain that an egg is about 10 times thicker than the human eyeball. Then shoot one. Explain that this is what happens when you lift goggles.

Noting like a learning experience like that to help them realise how stupid they're going to be.

Plus it makes a hell of a mess and you can get as gory as you feel is appropriate.

;)

next time we buy a fish, which may be soon, i can chop off the head and shoot the eyeball for u if u like? then take a pic and send it to you? until then, will superglue on the insides of their goggles suffice? lol :p

Don't want to put them off paintball though, well maybe some of them ;) But you're right it's a great way of emphasising how dangerous the game can be. Put one inside a set of goggles and shoot that.

Ask them where they'd rather have their eyes, behind the nice lens or outside.

Failing that we used to have a safety specs poster from (I think) ROSPA with a pair or blacked out eyes, a set of glasses and the phrase "Use them or Lose Them". If it's still out there maybe it can be modified or perhaps you could set up your own.

Might even be tempted to do a few myself. One I've thought about for walk ons is a set of goggles witha smashed lens with the quote "Hot Guns Don't Just Hurt!"

After being out ranged in a big way when running at 295 fps I think that one's appropriate, especially to the mag users who offered me an allen key to fix my loose drop, when on the field!

Now what would a mag user be doing with an allen key??? Perhaps it was a mistake.

;)

If he was being THAT obvious, I'd imagine he wasn't actually intending to use the allen key on the field. He probably just went via the chronograph. It's those guys who have the allen key secreted in a seam in their gloves, or held in place between the velcro on their pads that you have to worry about!
