heres one for you all then

due to the fact that i have a fat a**e i find it almost impossible to use a tournie style of pod pack

i have to agree Aten_Re here that with this style of pack it is easier to get the things out the top side and back in the same way unless you are crouched behind a bunker

however the better way i have found is to have the side facing packs.....like the 3 pot jacko ones that planet sell

these aren't the best you can buy....but are perfectly ok for rec ball...however

does anyone know of any good makes that do more than 3 pot....i have been looking now for about 3 months....and the only ones i can find are in america

pulling the pots up is a damn good way to knacker your shoulder....... makes you pull up next to the spot you can't reach........... say a back man....... nine pots a game, 8 games in a day.... that's 72 possible repititions per tourney. You wouldn't do that for long. Also, pulling them down isn't just easier it also keeps your profile low and gives you a much more natural reloading motion. If I'm wearing a seven pot pack, then I can't reach the last two without switching my marker unless I take them out of the bottom.
If you are crouching low and tight to the bunker then the top of your pots/battlepack is pushed in towards your back..... you can't take a pot out without leaning forward..unless you are pulling them down.
But it's a personal thing, and most tourney players are more worried about speed and ease than comfort and not losing a few paintballs.

You can also see about those "elephant" packs, you tend to see them on eBay quite often. They have 2 or 3 pots horizontally on each side, and another pot holder in between, vertically (with the lid pointed up). The middle pot holder is actually designed for a gas bottle on remote, so you also have that option at the expense of carrying one less pot. The only one I know of hold 100 ball pots, but that can give you a total of 700.

The only drawback with them is you have a rather larger profile as they stick out sideways, but I think they're pretty nifty packs for recball.

Here's an example of one . That one there isn't exactly what I have in mind, becuase it lacks the verticle pouch and the suspenders that you use to wear it, but it should give you an idea.

Edit:
I've also found these ones from Hangar 18. A bit more pricey, though! These should hold 140s and are very comfortable, but you'd really want to try them on first.

Also a 32 degrees one: here. I can't comment on that, though, but its another option.
