Question whe I see people wearing pot packs, they look upside down:
http://www.planeteclipse.com/www2001/site/tech/images/jacko/jacko_5pot.jpg

Thats upside down, and its not practical

Why do you have the pots upside down, it make much more sense to have then the right way up (the top at the top) rather than the bottom at the top.

Am I missing something, as removing pots is easier if the top of the pot is, so to speak at the top and you have the velcro strap holding the bottom of the pot.

Sorry if this is
A: really stupid
B: Doesnt make sense (just think about it)

If you put your hand behind your back, you should find it easier to pull downwards than upwards. You can pull upwards (at least, I can when I try) but not really far enough to get a 140 put clear of a pack. Because of the hinge and flap on the lid of a pot, and the need for the loop to be tight around the pod body to hold it, pods can only go in and out one way.

Not a stupid question though, it does look unusual. If you want, try playing a game with the pack loaded half-and-half and see which you prefer for yourself. If you can dislocate your shoulder at will you could well find the other way suits you better :)

mmm

The Jacko pack I have, fits pots in both ways. I understand it is easier to pull downwards (not by much for me to be honest) but you forget putting the buggers back. Trying to put your pot back under the loop behind your back is tricky, putting your pot down through the loop, (pot the right way up) is much easier. Try it

(I thing you mis understand me also) you say you cant pull of pot out upwards becuase of the lid, but the lid is at the top. So its easy, for example you dont keep a knife in a holder with the handle facing the floor.

Maybe I can start a trend

hi

Most of the positions you'll find yourself in whilst playing will make pulling a pot out of the top of a pack harder than the bottom, although i do agree it is sometimes harder to pull them out the conventional way. Dependent where you're playin (ie woods or sup air) it might be easier to do what a lot of recball and tournie players do and leave the empty pots in your barricade as you move up the field, this way your profile is reduced and you don't pull out an empty pot by mistake.

only prob will be collecting them at the end of the game.

ah, thats why you dont like it, all of us that have answered play sup air, where you throw your pots away and collect them at the end of the game, so we dont need to worry about putting them back, as we could well empty a pot in 10 seconds!

ive seen tournie players with pots both ways up and also in horizontal packs, i think its a personal choice thing myself, personally i find it easier to pull em down than up.....especially when squatting behind a bunker or laying down.

also a good point i guess its easier to put emptys back in from the top.......or you could just kick em out of your bunker like most tournie players do
