The proteins in Paintball will react with the spray paint and basically melt. I picked up a Ego that had been sprayed. had to throw most of the parts away as they were useless

Agree 100% that spraying a marker is probably a bad idea that will break it......but having said that, one of the blokes on our team works in a bodyshop and still runs an Angel LED which he resprays on a regular basis......works fine and looks quite nice with a fade paintjob too, although it does have a habit of chipping.

I would just upgrade the barrel, at the end of the day you dont need a fancy color gun to shoot someone.. altho if you have plenty of money go for anno from slothball then you can shoot people and look cool :)

might not need a fancie colour but a good looking gun does get wow factor. and lets face it if you feel good you play better.

but i must agree its better if cash isnt free flowing to play and train than upgrade. if your going to upgrade just buy a better marker.
