Shortstroking

This causes you to break paint. Basically its when you don't fully release the trigger before attempting to fire again, causes the marker not to cock properly. I always used to do this with the standard grip on me original cocker. When I bought me first STo I put a blade frame on and never had any problems with short stroking...

When you don't complete a full fire cycle, and begin again.

Basically, when you don't pull the trigger all the way back, and let it go all the way forward again. It's fairly easy when you're trying to rag the trigger......

Have a look on the websites listed above, they'll give you a good insight into the workings and what you can do to your cocker.

Personally as well I wouldn't start forking out a load of cash upgrading your cocker bit by bit, like with the parts your talking about. I would play with the marker you have, learn about it (as basically the fundamentals of cockers are all basically the same).

Then if you still want more 'fancy' components on your cocker buy a nice second hand Eclipse, SFL, or Spearhead or something. That way you get the looks as well as the increased performance.
