Anyone in the Newcastle upon Tyne area looking to play should contact www.universalpaintball.co.uk they have a hire stock of Ions and look to promote teams etc. Sadly only got wooded areas. But if you look at www.ionman.co.uk you have a chance of winning a 5 man team prize of 5 Ions !

Also, if you don't have enough members at your uni for a team for the Inter-uni league (Members of a team all have to be from the same uni), but still want to play with other uni students you can play for the University Barbarians, website here:

Coventry Uni might be possibly interested in getting 2 Ion packages...id also like probally 2 sets of masks aswell but I was honestly gonna get it all 2nd hand, depends what we can haggle 
dunno mate, as its you will add 10% to each item, seems fair!
Masks wise i was thinking something basic like v force vantage, last year i got 8 sets of JT N vadars at £20 each and they were ****! If we could get Axis would be much better as they are pretty much invisions.
the way we should work this is post up ideas of what equipment and the possible packages, then approach a single distributor (lips never let me down) and see what they can do. I do happen to know a smart parts dealer in norwich who would be interested, we could barter with them by agreeing to hold a round of the uni tournie with them (its snetterton sup air).
Also to Lee - if i remember correct you used to head up mikes site in necton, i used to marshall there. I would suggest for this year try and get your club established by doing punter days at a discount, then move onto a walkon hiring out site markers and see if the nice yocals have stuff they will lend or show off.

yep, only went down to a couple of walkons there before i left for uni
in the very near future i should be the owner of four different markers so we should be alright there but we'll probably be running trips down to northern quarter and probably some woodsball site such as powerplay as well as organising punter days for particular halls/subjects etc...try and get people interested in the shiny guns and then hit them with the membership fee
