boxes, don't you just love 'em!!

mine is a cricket box. not too bad for comfort, as i play front, so this is a necessity. mine has straps on so i can wear it over my pants.

always good to know that one goolie won't be the size of your fist if you get shot down there!! (this happened to a friend of mine, he had to go to hospital and stayed in bed for a fortnight before he could walk)

so im not the only one with a lucky thong!!!! ;)

usually i just wear my knee pad and a pair of shorts under my playing gear, if its cold i wear thermal undies! (top and bottom)

definiatly gonna get a pair of slide shorts to put a bit of padding in the family jewels area...and prob a hard box too...ive played without for FAR to long!

Not a strip search as such, but there have been checks on the number of layers a few times recently. In these days of more & more female players this raises potential problems with the majority of the people doing the search being male. And of course, in this somewhat oversensitive country there's the possibility of being had up for paedophilia if you try to check anyone under the age of 16 without neutral witnesses!

For a tourny, Dye Sliders under the pants (usually Dye or Redz pants), knee pads, jersey with either nothing (summer), a t-shirt (spring/fall) or sweatshirt (winter) underneath.

If it's walk-on/rec or practice, I'll wear whatever is comfortable based on the weather. Sometimes just a t-shirt and some shorts in the summer (with the Slider/cup combo)

Manike - the Dye Sliders come with a soft cup but I switch it for a hard cup. Can't be too carefull down there :D
