The ground, hard under my feet, gave way as I trembled forward into the depths. The putrid smell of rotten flesh washed over me and made my head spin, but I was here to do my job, I had promised. The box stood out in the darkness, unusually large and overflowing with parts that one only sees in their nightmares. My time was now I had to look in and see what horrors it held, for me and for others.
