I'm looking forward to the day when Paintball is recognised by UK Sport or some kind of British Sports Council - As I'm currently claiming to be doing paintball as my Physical Recreation for my Duke of Endingburgh Gold award!
I'm gonna have to develop my own program for the scheme because it's never been done before, but paintball first has to be recognised by one of the above mentioned organisations. :(

Maybe you can add that to your argument list and use in our favour should you feel the need. Keep up good work all those involved, cheers lads.

:)

Hi AJermstad
The Midland Masters are in the middle of organizing academy for marshalls. I know some university in Birmingham are using this for their Physical Recreation work.

You should get in contact with Mark Blakemore or Phil Warr. They will be able to help you out on this matter.

Contact Numbers Are:
Mark Blakemore: 07714 907911
Phil Warr: 07714 061235

I hope this help you, regarding this matter.
:)

Wow Jinxy, that's pretty awesome, thanks.:D

Are they doing the marshalling under their Physical Reacreation do you know, or skill. Because I was trying to do marshalling as a form of refereeing which is Skill option, and then my actual paintball playing as the Physical Recreation (hmm.....now how could I incorporate paintball into my service? Then I'd be all set to go!:D ). Just curious - I'll definitely give them a ring.

:)

Time To Help Bully - UKPSF

Hi Hotpoint,
Thanks for the info.

It’s nice to know im still on the committee; I gave up asking Bully for meetings about 2 years ago.

Don’t get me wrong, Bully has done a great job and Im the first to stand by him in need. With out Bully, there would not be a UKPSF that’s for sure.

I think it’s about time we started helping him and by doing so, having the meetings back again, once every 3 months should do it.

Im not sure what is happening in the UKPSF right now and that’s not a very good sign. We as players must start helping Bully in any capacity, as he sees fit. Im sure Bully has long term goals regarding the UKPSF.

As for AGM’s that it’s a must. How can we become a professional sport if we have no forum to air the player’s views to the committee?
