Preconceptions I would say I probably do, agenda not really apart from wanting to know whole story which will sort out my preconception
And I am still a little ****, never change

No Truthfully apart from a 5 min conversation I have not got a clue
I had heard we had bombed out badly but wanted to know why and what we were doing about it

Well, Graham was reffing so is probably worth a call, but from how I understand it...

German game - U guys weren't at tha races; Germans much more orgaized from tha off and built up an unassailable lead. Poor coaching and planning to blame on Robo's part.

Russkies - Gave em a great game and showed what y'all could do.

Overall - general feedback is that tha Brit team 'could' be a force on tha world scene cos tha talent is there. But hey, 'could' and 'is' are a million miles apart...

Oops, missed a bit...

As to what's being done about it? Kinda presupposes that tha event will happen again next year...from what I hear, X-Ball may become a thing inh its own right, but played in a regional league over here with State teams, so Johnny Foreigner ain't welcome!

So I guess tha odds are there won't be a 'next time'...not for a while at least.

As you say TJ, with X-Ball becoming a thing of it's own...What will this mean for international level X-Ball competition? Sure, foreign teams aren't welcome in the NBA, but the US still plays basketball in the World Basketball Champs (And came 6th :p, but they didn't put there best players in, so that kinda shows you how seriously they take it. GO THE KIWIS! btw :D).

It's kinda funny watching the X-Ball thing from the sidelines (Halfway around the world) with everyone tripping over themselves to get in somehow. There's still 'ball to be played. Guess everyone wants to be like Mike.

If another country had won that may have been a little different
but as I say I am not to sure they can
A European team may stand a chance but then we will not be looking at so many teams attending
And I would say you would need someone with a smaller head doing the talking and thinking
(I am mean)

"Overall - general feedback is that tha Brit team 'could' be a force on tha world scene cos tha talent is there."

Now thats nice and short and very simple and very true and theres another one, "something I have heard so many times before I could be worth millions if I had £ for each time I had heard it

WE need consistant games of the same quality and difficulty to be able to compete and even start to try to with the American teams
Something that the big Euro teams are trying or have had players do in the past
Ton TOns
Russkies
Shockwave for a while
Joy Division
In the American Football league for example how would the NFL europe teams get on

Without we will stay in the wilderness

Pfah! It would be like fielding a 'European' team of which 6 of the 7 players are American. About 38-40 out of the 44 players on an NFL Europe team are American, albeit NFL rejects and lend-outs. So it would be like the big US teams taking a 10 man squad over for a 7 man tourney, and 'giving' the surplus players to a European team.

? how confusing Budha?

Having played in the US it can be quite common for the Ameteur teams to occasionly beat the big US teams at paintball but not consitently

And hardly if I read your question correctly as I do not believe the Americans would bring strong squad players for paintball and give them over, neither would the NFL teams give squad player sof substance to the NFL europe if they played, so somewhere in your reply I have missed your point
I was not making a statement that NFL europe players were of a certain country but lower in class and could not compete in a league that plays at a much higher level consistently

Kurt Warner. One year Amsterdam Admirals, year later Superbowl and league MVP.

I didn't disagree with you or anything. All I did was expand on your comparison, which was a bit of a flawed one as far as the NFL Europe was concerned (because of the above points), but other than that you made a good point.
And I seriously doubt, like you do, that the Yanks would bring players to hand out to other teams.
