okay i have been warned by respectable authorities of the dangers involved with some regulators on the market, which include only one burst disk. I would ask an air specialist about this, as im a no-cluer, but obviously the risk of very high pressure is one that should be dealt with respect.
Any idea which regulators these would be?

I think you might be refering to the line disk and the tank disk.

Baisicly, some regulators have a burst disk which if too much pressure is heading down your macro it will rupture, iirc...

I know mine doesnt... but to be honest if that much pressure is heading towards ure gun then the macroline will just split anyway...

i got a CP tank reg from lips a few weeks ago, awesome bit of kit, looks good, nice and light, only down side is they are £65, but apparently fully rebuildable if anything goes wrong...

could the high pressure damage gun internals, or pop the bottle off the ASA? im not too sure, but i'd prefer both given a choice.

I believe the new myth reg only has one burst disk and also dye throttles but not 100%

lol mate i'm in exactly the same boat with my Stako,

from what i've read, Throttle regs arent meant to be all that, though i've never used one myself to find out.

Lips only have 1 dust black cp reg in stock but are getting more in a couple of wks, cp regs are meant to be very good quality and pretty light.

personaly, i'm gonna get a Guerilla 'Air Assault' from Amppaintball. Their out of stock at the moment but they can order one in for you for a £25 deposit. Their a fiver cheaper (not much i know) but their a tad lighter and 1 on the best regs on the market.

cheers
