because these teams will get better and a large gap will appear between these teams and "the rest"

I guess the bigger teams gotta be more selfish, course you gotta help up and coming teams. But if it means gettin a bunch of UK teams up to a higher level then I say its the way its goota be...

If reference to what Robbo said, I totally agree, but I personally feel it was them not traing with teams that are better then them, u learn from better teams, nevermind teams at the same level or even below. Just my 2 pennies worth....

It cant be just scrims. You have to have days with just drills. But a regular Uk Pro scrim would be very good and beneficial. Maybe at a neutral location.

And I agree with the sentiment that 7 guys of semi skill who work as a team will dominate 7 exceptional players who have no team skills. Look at the kellys, those boys consistantly beat great Pro teams cause they work as a solid unit. Very good team work. We always have a tough game against them.

Uk pimps

Cheers Bro, without a doubt, the main emphasis has to be week in week out drills, but for top teams to get together say once every 5 weeks and shoot each other all day would be awesome!!
It would improve everybody (anyone who says otherwise is talkin ****te) and would also bring the teams closer together.. How can that not be good??:p

Ehm.....

Too many top end players I think though don't make a superior team. A team that plays well together as a TEAM is what wins games. Think the trick is trying to get a right blend of the two...
So - who on Dynasty is NOT a "superior player" ???

:p

Making a great team, is not a question of mixing the skilled with the less skilled... it's about getting ONLY skilled players, who do not have egos that tear the team apart from the inside ;)

- Unfortunately.... a LOT of "superior players" have egos that make them hard to have on your team...... Dynasty have proven how far you can go with an all star line-up - and the only reason they have managed it, it because nobody on that team is being an a..hole to his teammates.

"You kids today" ;) - could learn a lot from that simple fact.

cool

I think this is a good idea the gap between so called top teams and the others is increasing all the time. Even if you just look at at in time spent training, you don't not go training so as not to make the gap 2 big do ya ? Hell no.
cool so whos got a big grassy field and air then?

thats why the best Uk teams train Saturday (drills) and Sunday scrimmage bud

P: and i dont think the scrimmaging effected Nexus that much, i think it was the dual format that did that!

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the panick is? so we had a bad season what team does'nt look at Everton in the premiership currently 2nd last seaon bottom half. Our down fall last season was totally on our approach and just playing against other teams all the time dosent help we didnt drill enough and began to make excuses that covered up the real problem.!!! As for Twiss i see what he is trying to do and we all love him for it but i know iam already in the best team in the uk.Before you all send dog sh2t through my letter box if you dont believe that about your own team then sumthing aint right!!!!!There isnt anthing i want more than to win with NEXUS and ill dye trying(actually i try and stay alive)

As for talent with in a team ill take a team of great players any time, they will always come through in the end as they say every dog has its day but consistancy wins you titles.
We will be back to our old ways next year, new guns, new attitude looking forward to it!!!

Happy crimbo all ;)

I just don't think there's enough great players in the UK.
Hi Twiz,

easy mate, we got in by the skin of our teeth I know but because we only have four scores. We put all our faith in the promise of xball and by the time we stopped believing the hype it was too late. We didn't have enough holiday/players left for the Las Vegas or San Diego because we didn't plan the year to take the NPPL into account.

We beat Infamous and XSV (100-0) in Toulouse without a single 7man training session, infact our youngest guys had never played 7-man only xball before then.

The tigers will be just fine in 2005, our NPPL heads are now on the events are planned, training organised and we are ready to rock. ;)
