Trouble is, there aren't too many of the old Preds from their greatest days left playing these days. As someone posted earlier, Marcus is currently "unavailable" & may be for a little while longer, and anyway he retired from playing a couple of years before the rest of the team stopped. Sid Spittal must be 70 odd by now & therefore possibly getting just a little bit old for the more fast paced modern game. Many of the others from the 1990 type period haven't been spotted on any paintball site for many, many years; so even with modern markers & other kit it would take them quite a while to get back into tournament play.
Strange though, as someone mentioned the same rumour about the Preds making a come-back before this year's Campaign Cup. However, that might have been brought on by Sid & Phil Ham playing for the Diablo Old Sods team.
