I had pretty much calmed down by the time I got home from the event today ................but when you rub salt in to the wound.
Just to give u an idea of what happened ..... bearing mind I did not play in this game at all ,I was merely a spectator so here is how it went .
Team A & Team B are the same team but they have 2 teams in the same div .
This was game 4-5 or for the both of them (why was this not played first game??)
Team A is there strong team and Team B is there weaker team, Team B wins the game with one player left on the field now this player contemplates shooting him self in the foot ,but thinks that’s too obvious soo he goes back to the centre of the field picks the flag up ,looks back at team A's end .Then he decides to hang it in his own base.Ending up with Team b giving the majority of the points to there stronger team .
Now if myself and a couple of others had not seen this ,it would have just gone on the score board with no one the wiser .They did not get any penalties after around 2 hrs of discussion of and on ,basically the way they do there rules everyone knows they rigged it but can not change it because the field ultimate signed the sheets off with the scores.
However the reason iam actually posting this is that 2 yrs ago enemy got banned for a yr for doing this ,what happened to day at local event does not warrant something as harsh as that .......................but DONT GIVE THEM THE MOST SPORTING TEAM AWARD ,this kinda bites peoples arse's.
