one of the team bought their boy and he stood and videoed some of the games- that's not quite the same I guess ;)

but in terms of legal restrictions I dunno- Markduplessis was told he wasn't allowed to sell his pics of the tourney
-Wendy would be the one to answer this she makes the rules I'm just BS'ing :D

Yeah, i mean the team photographer would just photograph his team and wouldn't actually be selling them because who would want pictures of someone elses team (unless you fancied one of them)
personally I probably will never buy off certain photography companies because IMO their pics are too expensive £8 for a CD containing only pictures of yourself

:edit:
and I don't want that to sound harsh or put people off, but it's true I don't have the money to pay £8 just for pics of me, being a student

I bet a lot of people would be in favor of hiring a photographer as long as his rates were fair. *or* might even buy some pictures off the picture comany- but they have to take some pictures first!

We had one of our youngsters film a few games. 'So long as the captains agree' according to the marshalls so we got as much as we could :)

Im not putting the quality of the photography down, as its great on the whole, however I doubt there is alot of money in it for them, so hopefully there are more budding 'Marcduplessis' out there who will do it for the love of it :)

We had our own guy videoin and as far as we are aware it wasnt a problem. I recall wendy sayin (please tell me if im wrong) as long as its ur guy doin it for your personal team use it is ok, you are just not alowed to sell anything.

Actually don't think that photographers were able to do much as there did not seem to be a tape line. So therefore they could be construed as being in the field of play which is not allowed.
Maybe mistaken though!!!
