Steve, the idea is that they say 8:00 so that when people get there at half past there is only an hour till first game
That was what i was thinking. But its all well and good for those who are late, but those that have turned up on time & rushed their field walking are then standing around with their thumbs up their ar$e when they could have been doing something useful.

If people are late, and they miss their first game - 0 points, simple as that. Don't mess everyone else around coz of them.

(Now where did i put put my chill pills? :) )

  I don't think that's even legal in public mate:eek:

Seriously though could you just not walk the field again more thoroughly iff this is the case? Or pot up more pots to save time lata?

5 reasons NOT to play on the punterball... sorry hyperball field:

1. Its too big for 7 man, let alone 5.
2. Many of the back barricades are too thin and full of holes.
3. Home teams have an advantage.
4. Half the barricades arent playable in a a toruney.
5. Its on a 10 degree slope.

Is there a moral to this story:D, only joking, but the hpyer bal field doesnt get used if we go there and train only the Sup Air and the fields have never been the same each time ive been.

The time is not always completely wasted, it just tends to be more hassle and less efficent than having a reaslistic timetable that everyone sticks to. The problem is you never realy know how much time you have once the schedule has gone out the window, so you can't realy do anything useful.

But this is just my pennys worth after having been to one tourney, so i'm sure there are a lot of things that the organisers have to sort out that hasn't even occured to me

RE Pots, we're playing KotH so that's not realy a problem we pot up all our pots at the begining of the day anyway.
