All the gear and no idea much?

He doesn't need 15bps to win a match. You could win with a mask, a pump and your day to day clothes if you can play well...

Give the guy a break, paintball isn't going to get anywhere by outcasting people who want to play but don't want to splash out on new guns before they've set foot on a field.
Guys i think your taking this completly the wrong way, i dont care if they played naked and with no guns. All i am saying is, is that they will find it MUCH harder and may get bored  i was just giving some advice as dont want them doing what some people do and jump in the deep end and end up hating the sup air bit which i dont want to see :)

And MJ2k7 will see you there then ;) the way you played at our training field you should do very good :)

Just in case anyone wants to part with some money at the event:

I have a slot available with my associate photographer priced at £80 for the morning session.

Also my old trusty ego 05 is for sale with air and hopper, with lots of other stuff for a very reasonable £300 if you bring cash money!!!

Why should they find it any harder? It's the player, not the marker. ultimately, if they had electros for this Sunday, they'd probably feel uncomfortable holding them, and perform worse than if they had their own markers with them. If they value the format, then it shouldn't stop them having fun at the tournament, and they save the cost of having to spend hundreds of pounds on a load of kit that they might not use again.

I think your first point was invalid, so i don't think it could have been taken the wrong way...
