since the beginging of the year my diesel tank fill has gone from about £40 to just under £60 and i get about 110miles out of each quarter of a tank, but im often filling up once or twice a fortnight depending on work.

and to explain why diesel is more expensive is simple, there are more deisel cars on the road thats why they get taxed more. unlike a few years ago when diesel engines were not quite as refined as they are now petrol was the most expensive.

Southern Pirates
Ash where I live near Aldershot.....117.9 or 118.9 depending on where you go. (The Shell in Mychett I believe is 117.9)

Rowlands Castle Shell station near Portsmouth where my parents live.....112.9 unleaded

Surrey is expensive enough to live in as it is, (some of the highest Council Tax, and Housing costs outside of London,) but do Shell really need to whack the prices up just because we are in an expensive county ??

Its extortionate.

Echowitch is that maybe because it costs them more in food suppliers/petrol/buying land because of where they are based?

No idea just thinking.

On a good car related note I passed my driving test today :p
