There are a good number of uk online stores for paintball products, the larger ones have been mentioned already. It is quite difficult to pick the uk sites out of all the USA stuff, but if you have the time and inclination it can be quite rewarding as some do very good deals, and you can catch the odd special. Some places tend to have a large range of marker eq and a smaller range of other stuff, goggles air sys etc, while others have a pretty broad range all the way through and some are basically support suppliers with a small range of markes and a large range of everything else.
Interesting comment about planet, they do tend to sell from just a few manufacturers, but from travelling down there, that's is what they have in the store. You can scope out the website and walk into the store the next day and see the same range. I know that some other shops have a huge list of markers you can choose from although there may be a significatn wait for some of them. ie they can get hold of all these markers, but they may need ordering.
I can see both sides of the coin here, it is good to offer as wide a range as possible, but it is also nice to be able to complete the deal right then and there, both from a sales point of view, and also from a pleasing the customer point of view.
But then, what really makes the name of a store, be it Fat bob, planet, phoenix, havoc, pbonthenet, pbwarehouse, or wherever is the SERVICE. This can't be stressed enough. And from reading around the forums you'll get an idea of what people think about the stores. ie X has STILL not got the mods done on my marker, or Y simply replaced part Z when I told them it was faulty.
This ramble isn't going anywhere, so my apologies if you thought it was. I have no preference as to which store to use, I scan them all for what I want, tending to go alphabetically as that's the way my bookmarks are stored.
So check out everyone, and get yourself a better price.
What we could do with is a directory of UK paintball websites. Everyone I find is covered in american sites, informative but non useful.
