I sent via refund button on the transaction. Nothing I can do about it to speed it up, its down to paypal.

Dusty No sorry, I just want to do it via the PayPal to protect myself here... I just hit refund on there, I can screenshot it etc if you need proof

EDIT: I believe it's only going slowly because of the whole dispute thing... Either way it is definitely refunded, and I don't even think there is actually a way for me to cancel a refund... So noone needs to worry

It's because you don't have money in paypal to cover the refund.

It's like writing a cheque - it takes time to clear.

If you linked a credit or debit card to your paypal account, the refund would be instant, as the money is taken from the card if there is not enough in the paypal account.

My debit card is linked directly to paypal, along with my bank account as well, so it can't be that
